These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VoxMachine, a content generation platform operated by Virtara (Pty) Ltd ("Virtara", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in South Africa.
By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using VoxMachine, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using VoxMachine on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use VoxMachine.
VoxMachine is a software-as-a-service platform that helps businesses create brand-aligned marketing content using artificial intelligence. Features include AI content generation, a brand voice profile, a knowledge base, content scheduling, and integrations with third-party publishing services.
We may add, modify, or remove features from time to time. Where a change materially reduces the functionality of your paid plan, we will notify you in advance.
The Business plan includes the design, build, and hosting of a custom website. Website deliverables are scoped and communicated separately after subscription, and remain subject to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use VoxMachine.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@voxmachine.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
VoxMachine is offered on monthly subscription plans: Starter (R299 per month), Growth (R699 per month), and Business (R1,499 per month). Current pricing and plan features are listed on our pricing page. All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable.
Subscription payments are processed by Payfast (by Network), a licensed South African payment service provider. By subscribing, you authorise recurring monthly billing to your chosen payment method. We do not store your card details.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance from the date of your first payment. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
If a recurring payment fails, we will notify you and may retry the charge. If payment is not received within 7 days, we may suspend access to paid features until payment is settled.
We may change subscription prices from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days written notice before a price change takes effect. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before the change applies.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation and refund terms are set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
In summary: cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, you retain access until then, and no further charges are made after cancellation.
Content generation on each plan is subject to the monthly limit published for that plan on our pricing page, and to a further cap of 60 generations in any 24 hour period which applies to every plan. Both limits are published rather than discretionary, and exist to prevent abuse, automated scraping, or resale of generation capacity.
If your usage substantially exceeds what is reasonable for a single business, we may contact you to discuss an appropriate plan. We will not suspend an account for fair usage reasons without prior notice.
You retain all rights to the business information, documents, and brand materials you upload to VoxMachine, and to the content generated for you through the platform. We claim no ownership over your content.
You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely as necessary to provide the service, including sending relevant excerpts to our AI providers to generate content on your behalf.
Content is generated by AI models and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before publishing it. VoxMachine does not guarantee that generated content is accurate, original in all respects, or fit for any particular purpose.
We do not use your content or business data to train AI models.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section. Where practical, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach first.
VoxMachine relies on third-party services including Anthropic (Claude AI), OpenAI, Supabase, Buffer, and Payfast. Your use of those services through VoxMachine is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
Where you connect a third-party account (such as Buffer for social publishing), you authorise us to interact with that service on your behalf. You may disconnect integrations at any time from your settings.
We are not responsible for outages, changes, or data handling practices of third-party services, but we will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption to you.
The VoxMachine platform, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Virtara (Pty) Ltd and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the platform other than the right to use it in accordance with your subscription.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the platform.
We aim to keep VoxMachine available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or events beyond our control may cause temporary downtime.
Support is provided via email at support@voxmachine.co.za. Growth and Business subscribers receive priority support.
VoxMachine is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African law that cannot be limited or excluded by agreement.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop using VoxMachine and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or where required by law.
On termination, your right to use the platform ends. We will delete your personal information and content in accordance with our Privacy Policy, within 30 days of account closure unless retention is required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and display a notice within the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of VoxMachine after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
